I'm ONE

My camera broke the day before Clara's 7th birthday so I got zero pictures of her birthday. I know I am a bad mom. But, I couldn't miss Amelia's first birthday so had to scramble to get a new camera. Justin had fun trying it out and got some pretty funny ones of her. Here she is telling you she is one today.


She has a few new tricks lately. She loves loves loves to wave goodbye and will do it over and over to anyone and everyone. She also blows kisses but just puts her hand anywhere on her face like over her eye or her ear. She also loves to play peek a boo and he caught her doing it here.

She is so full of smiles and giggles.

We got a couple of sweet photos. I love her melty eyes.

We were so busy we put off cake and presents until Sunday. We figured she wouldn't remember. She had a little fun with her cake but after about 5 minutes didn't want to be dirty anymore and started throwing it on the floor.

She loves to rip the pages in books so I knew she would go for the wrapping paper. She got a little baby doll and a couple of zoobles with Grandma and Grandpa Fillmore's money and that is it. She loves zoobles and thinks they are the greatest.

Her brothers and sisters love her so much. She is such a lucky little sister. Happy Birthday Amelia, Milla Milla and Milly. We love you so much.

Pine

So, we don't go away to the cabin very often but we did sneak away overnight over Memorial Day weekend. Benjamin and April joined us and there were lots of second cousins to play with. I didn't get pictures of Susanna and Clara because they disappeared with Chloe and Katie Weed and I never really saw them again. It was a very lazy weekend and great weather.

She is a pretty happy little girl. She is the reason we went. About a month ago she started asking Clint and I to take her camping so she could sleep in the mountains. She has us all wrapped around her little finger.

And...Eliza got to be with her very favorite person in the world. She and Joshua were inseperable and they always get along so great. I couldn't resist this picture of Joshua's great smile. Does it get any cuter?

Dressing herself?

Each summer I spend the first week or so de-junking every room in my house. This year I have burned out two rooms shy of complete. I'm trying to get the energy to finish. One of things that happened was we moved Eliza's clothes down to a rack she could reach. Now every morning she gets so excited to pick out her clothes and show us what she has come up with. This one was a real doozy. Orange, brown, and blue paisley tank top, pink and purple plaid shorts, polka dot socked (rolled) and silver sparkly shoes. She was so proud of herself. I think we may need to move those clothes up a little.

6th grade promotion

Nathan graduated from sixth grade a couple of weeks ago. I can't believe he is old enough to go to Junior High. I think he will have so much fun at Stapley. Here he is looking very scholarly getting his award for getting super great grades.
His teacher Ms. Barcia, she was almost as tall (short) as him.

He graduated with 2 of his cousins. Katie Week and Jack Jones. They are both in his class this year.
